Challenger 17 is comprised mainly of students who excelled in sports and academics in high school. Not only do we speciallize in sports, we are accompanied by many individuals who hold positions in their class government, debate team, Muster Committee, Traditions council, Fish Camp, Impact, Camp Ozarka, big event staff, and off Campus Bonfire! We are all about pushing the boundries of what you thought you could do to what else can you achieve!!! We hope to mirror our achievements in life to those of the Challenger seven who tragically parished in the explosion of the Space Shuttle Challeger. It is through those seven individuals who we represent!

Challenger 17 has been around for 16 years now, passing on the knowledge of past challengers and maintaining the Challenger's rememberence. We are the only living memorial to the Challenger Tradegy. Not only do we remember the 7, but we honor our fallen commarade who parished in the Bonfire Collaspe on November 18th, 1999.
